Re: Dictionaries in Firefox

Ok, thanks. I somehow got Finnish, Swedish, Russian and English spelling dictionaries into Firefox on Linux Mint, but I don't remember what I did.

Dictionaries in Firefox

I'm trying to add spelling dictionaries to Firefox and although Russian language pack 24 and Swedish language pack 24 show up in add-ons, I can't seem to select these languages for spell checking gmail messages. I have the feeling this is a known issue, but I can't find a bug report on it. Any thoug...

Re: You do not have PackageKit

Thank you very much indeed for the info. Like I said, I really like Point Linux. I believe it has the same type of goals as SolusOS, http://solusos.com/. Have you had any contact with the creator of SolusOS?

Re: You do not have PackageKit

Thanks for the reply. Only you didn't say where to report bugs in the future. Here are two more minor issues with synaptic: In synaptic, under Software sources -> Updates, it says "Notify me of a new Ubuntu version". This is not Ubuntu, is it? Also: Under PointLinux software, there is no c...

You do not have PackageKit

Because I really like Point Linux and I have not found any bigger issues yet, I'm writing to complain about a very small issue: When I right-click on man panel and choose Help, I get the following: "Document Not Found The URI ‘ghelp:user-guide?gospanel-1#gospanel-1’ does not point to a valid pa...

Re: Automount

Sorry about that. And thanks. ntfs-3g had somehow disappeared from my line. UUID is ok, though. Stupid mistakes like this just goes to show a gui can be helpful.

Re: Automount

Thanks for replying. But the partition doesn't get mounted on boot. When I click on it in Caja I get this. "Error mounting: mount exited with exit code 1: helper failed with: mount: only root can mount /dev/sda5 on /media/Data" Should I change the owner of /media or /media/Data or do somet...

Automount

Hi! I'm new here and this is my first question. I have a separate Data partition formatted as ntfs with the Dropbox folder on it. I need this automounted at boot so Dropbox can access it. What is the correct line to put in /etc/fstab? Do I need to change something else? It would be good if this dist...
