synaptic segfaults and software-center does not work on PL

Wheezy-version.

Anybody knows of a way to make Debians software-center work with this?

Re: synaptic segfault

It's a localization issue, bug that provokes segfaults. Quite common, may or may not occur depending on language used it seems.
Won't be fixed this cycle..

synaptic segfault

I thought I had found a deb based distro where synaptic works.

but it worked fine 1 day and then started segfaulting like all debian and ubuntu do these days.

is there a fix? synaptic is so fast and handy for lazy post-install work. miss it if youre used to it

Re: norwegian

Okay, this was only a problem with the live CD/usb.

Pleased to see localization work so well. Just set locale by dpkg-reconfigure locales and set it to NO_nb

norwegian

seems pointlinux has gone for the least used variant of Norwegian.
Not smart.
Both are needed.

Is there a way to use the native Debian language support? or a langpack?
