Re: system requirements?

I use PL in a production environment (web, email, word processing, graphics editing) every day since a week, everything is OK and more responsive than Wheezy.

My machine is a Lenovo T61 (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M)

The LightDm bug. Is there really a LightDM bug ? Not very sure. Actually, I think the language selector of LDM is just for the settings of the session the user wants to open, and not for changing the keyboard layout of the login screen. How to hide list of users at login

If you want to hide the list of user(s) at login screen (then you'll have to type your username+password to log in)

Add these options to /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf :

greeter-hide-users=true
greeter-show-manual-login=true

Still can't see the problem. There is two problems. - in an installer, if you set a specific language and keyboard, it's not usual to have another keyboard layout that the selected for typing your username/pwd.
