How about some SDR support?

How about some SDR support?

Postby TNFrank » 02 Feb 2014, 07:17

Kali Linux is Debian based and it's suppose to have all kinds of support for Software Defined Radio(SDR) so how about we get something added to our Point Linux repos so we can do a simple "sudo apt-get install" to get things up and running with the SDR Kits we can buy? Please. :D

Gqrx is what I've been using to play around with my SDR dongle. I've read that it's coming to Debian Testing on April 15th. I've been running Kali and more recently went to SolydX Home Edition which is Debian Testing but I'm going to download and install Point Linux 3.x since it's also suppose to be Debian Testing and I like the MATE DE a bit better then the xfce DE.
Guess I thought my Distro Hopping days were over, but I am starting to narrow it down quite a bit. Hopefully PL 3.x will get Gqrx in it's Repos so I can just come back to Point Linux. See ya' on the forums.
