Here is how to boot if you are on UEFI.

1. Format a USB stick as FAT32 and copy all files from Point Linux ISO to it.
2. Create following folder structure on the Point Linux USB stick:
Code: Select all
efi\boot\

3. Download EFI Shell and and rename it to Bootx64.efi:
Code: Select all
https://svn.code.sf.net/p/edk2/code/trunk/edk2/ShellBinPkg/UefiShell/X64/Shell.efi

4. Copy EFI Shell (Bootx64.efi) to:
Code: Select all
efi\boot\

5. Create a file on the root of the USB stick called startup.nsh which contains:
Code: Select all
live\vmlinuz initrd=live\initrd.img boot=live config quiet splash --

Boot from the USB, voila!

If Point Linux developers are reading this, could you answer why you left out UEFI support? Can you add it? Thanks!
