[SOLVED] Can't browse samba-shared printers

Postby ppk » 11 Jun 2014, 04:12

In printer configuration window, I am not able to browse the windows printers (shared through SAMBA). The 'browse' button is disabled. Am I missing something ? Do I need to install any package to get that functionality ?

I found the solution in debian user forums. The following has solved the problem ...

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install python-smbc

And for information ... No, I am not running backports.
Anyway, thanks for the replies.
