seems pointlinux has gone for the least used variant of Norwegian.
Not smart.
Both are needed.

Is there a way to use the native Debian language support? or a langpack?

Okay, this was only a problem with the live CD/usb.

Pleased to see localization work so well. Just set locale by dpkg-reconfigure locales and set it to NO_nb

Norwegian Bokmål (NO_nb) is the most frequently used (written Bokmaal for those with non-nordic keyboard layouts).

On the topic of norwegian, I've submitted a norwegian translation of the website a few days ago. I'm guessing it's still being reviewed?
