I'm flirting with ubuntu alternatives and came across Point linux. Very pleased with the straight forward gnome 2 interface and shortlisted it as a viable option.
When I was using Ubuntu i used Kazam for screencasting due to its ease of use, reliability and ability to capture an area of the screen along with sound from the speakers. I'm hoping there is a version for Point Linux, as a newby from the world of Ubuntu which is mainly click and install I am hoping someone can assist.
Assumption time

As Point Linux is based on Debian I came across https://packages.debian.org/unstable/main/kazam - it would be great if someone can assist in helping me install this onto point.
Fingers crossed and thanks in advance.
