Now that Compiz is being properly supported, maintained, and actively developed again as Compiz Reloaded will Point Linux 3.0 begin offering natively (as in the repos installable via Synaptic and/or Apt) any time soon? I know it's available from Git, but it would be considerably simpler to have it in the repos.

I can't speak for Point Linux plans as I'm just a user. But, if you want to get compiz working on PL 3.2 mate go here: http://compiz-debian.tuxfamily.org/ It give clear copy and paste command lines to install compiz on a Debian Jessie base. Worked for me :D

Thanks, but I already knew about that method. I remember during the development of Point 3 it was brought up that they weren't going to support Compiz as it was a dead program. I was hoping they would revisit that now that it is, but the lack of activity on the Forums as well as lack of an updated version pretty well answered that question. It isn't Compiz that is dead and unsupported, but Point itself.
