Posting images here is easy. Open the image you want to have displayed in a separate page. Right click on it and select "Copy Image URL". Then select the 'Img' tab on the post you're preparing here, and paste the URL of the image you want to display. ..Done deal!!

Thanks, now how do I resize so it fits screen? :)

you can resize either using gimp or find a site resizing pictures. I'm using http://postimg.org/ and keeping some pictures in original or resized forms. but even if you have big picture you can get a link to smaller more convenient one e. g.

if you want to see big picture just click over the miniature one.
probably it's not the only solution.

and let me pay your attention on mirage - small and nice picture viewer :good: but useful also for cropping and resizing images.

drum, a bit strange version of mate desktop. have you got official repo (cp. http://wiki.mate-desktop.org/download#debian_wheezy)? can't remember but it should be at least 1.6.

cheers.

as a matter of fact I can't see any difference - 1.42 - 1.58 - 1.60.

I'm using mate from point linux repo. it's enough for me however there is a bug which make me crazy . if you define second panel vertically and not expended on the right (I'm right handed so I want to have icons on right side) after reboot it is on the left. it's impossible to change its properties and it should be manually moved to the right. is there described issue in 1.6?
