Point Linux site update!

Point Linux site update!

Postby Pry » 29 Aug 2013, 09:08

The Point Linux web site was updated today! Finally... :)

The main feature the update brings is the localization ability. This means you can (hopefully easily) translate the site onto your language if you want. Please read the instructions how to do it.
Another things are:
  • Language detection based on the default language set in your browser;
  • You can switch to another language;
  • Rotating banners;
  • Progress bar on banners (will be removed if it looks annoying);
  • New cool share buttons from Yandex;
  • Some minor tweaks.
Localizers are welcome!

Just three days after the update and we've got Bulgarian, Polish and Portuguese in addition to English and Russian we had on launch! 8-)
German translation is on the way, and it'd be great to have French and Spanish as well... ;)

I thank all the people who helped with the site translations.

Very nice looking update Peter! I love the rotating banners and the progress bars plus the choice of language in the upper right is very convenient. Great job and a big thanks to everyone who assisted in the translations.
